The 7 Steps to Success

Understanding our client's requirements including:
- Will you have us apply for a new URL, or will you be transferring your existing address?
- Your time frame and budget.
- The project's content and functionality.
- The market and graphic look you are trying to achieve.
Once we know this, we can engineer the site and turn the ideas into computer code. Then, all needs are integrated into an interactive web site that will provide optimal performance and client satisfaction. Once we provide an estimate of the schedule price, we will then ask for a 25% deposit and create a contract detailing our objectives.

Once all content has been selected and strategies and goals determined, we will provide a story board showing you the home page, product directory, inventory structure, all hypertext links between the web pages and site structure. It is not uncommon to tweak some ideas further after this meeting. Once story boards are approved we move on to the actual web pages.

After the client has approved the story board showing product layout, a draft rendering of the web pages will be produced. The written content will be proof read and spell checked. Positioning of all graphics, photos, and titles will be laid out, including any special forms we need to create. Again here, there will be an exchange of ideas and some tweaking. Once the web page design is approved we will set up a demonstration.

The demonstration can be done on-line from the comfort of your office. We will email you a link to your site, which will still be under construction. Once there you will be able to see a completed presentation all the way through ordering product. Based on your feedback final versions of the site will be constructed.

All of our published work must go through a rigorous testing phase. We suggest that in addition to our testing the client "shop" the site. Our goal in this phase is to ensure the integrity of the HTML coding, making your web site available to the widest possible audience. It is important that your documents look good across multiple platforms and on the most popular browsers.

After 7-10 days of testing to remove any bugs, we will demonstrate the final web site to you and your project leader for final approval. We will also provide [2] 1 hour training sessions for up to 3 of your staff at your place of business. During this time your key people will be taught how to:
- Use the program day to day.
- Add, remove, or update product and pricing.
- Review order processing and shipping.
- Review and understand reports.
- Create monthly specials.
- Archive shipped orders.
- Manage inventory.

After the web site has been approved, it will be officially launched and put on the WWW in its permanent home. At that time you may inform customers and your sales personnel that your site is up and ready.
